BROOMHILL Sanctuary is a living ecosystem where resilience is
cultivated through relationship. The 2.12-hectare hillside is shaped
by weather, seasons, plants, animals and people. Here, nothing grows
alone. From ancient beech to resilient weeds, every plant is held
within a living web - rooted in soil, nourished by water, fungi and
the elements, among countless other forms of life. We are part of
this too. Through growing food, restoring whenua, learning, resting,
sharing and working together, we participate in creating conditions
