Full Moon Harvest Circle
26.09.2026 Attending: 0 Open: 8
Copied
As the Full Moon rises, we gather to harvest the medicinal herbs that are ready in their season. Moving gently through the gardens and surrounding whenua, we harvest with care, taking only what the plants can generously share. Returning to the circle, we prepare the harvest together by clipping, plucking and bundling herbs while sharing tea, conversation and quiet moments of observation. The plants, the weather and the land shape the rhythm of each gathering. We follow the season rather than a fixed programme.
Location: BROOMHILL Gardens Duration: 4pm - 6pm
This Season: Every Full Moon brings something different. Some months offer leaves and flowers, others seeds, berries or roots. We work with what is ready, allowing the season to guide the harvest. September brings the first signs of spring. Tender perennial greens, fresh herbs and the earliest medicinal leaves begin to emerge, offering the first harvests for teas, fresh cooking and spring pestos. Shared Learning: Through shared practice we explore medicinal plants, seasonal harvesting, drying and storing herbs, simple preparations, and caring for the abundance of the land. What to bring: • Clothing suitable for the weather • Sturdy footwear • Gardening gloves if preferred • A water bottle • An openness to move at the pace of the evening
