Volunteer days on our local roster bring together those who routinely help co-create the project. It’s a collaborative day of care, work, and connection—supporting ongoing projects, seasonal tasks, and shared stewardship of the land. Everyone contributes according to their skills, energy, and interest, and the day flows with the needs of the land and projects.

Sturdy clothes suitable for outdoor work
Gloves, hat, and sun/rain protection
Water bottle and snacks for sustained energy
Tools may be provided, but feel free to bring favourites for personal use

Aligned with the natural rhythms of the season, tasks focus on supporting growth, maintenance, and ecological balance. Depending on the time of year, this may include planting, harvesting, garden preparation, composting, or other hands-on stewardship activities.
Ways to Participate:
Volunteers can engage in all tasks involved in creating, maintaining, and planting the West Slope hillside. Hands-on participation, skill sharing, and contributing according to your energy all help the collective care for the land.
