Tamariki Kete Ora — Mandala of the Bees

Join us in the gardens for a creative and sensory exploration inspired by the bees and the patterns of nature they help create. Together, tamariki will gather petals, leaves, seeds, and natural treasures to form a living mandala, celebrating colour, shape, and the gentle harmony of the natural world. As we create, we’ll learn how bees care for flowers, how each small being has a purpose, and how the garden thrives through cooperation. The session encourages curiosity, gratitude, and connection — to the land, the insects, and each other. We’ll close with a shared song of thanks and a short mindfulness exercise, inviting everyone to notice their breath, the sounds around them, and the beauty of what we’ve created together.

Location: BROOMHILL Fairy Garden Duration: 1.30pm - 3pm

What to bring: Designed for children under 5 years. Parental guidance is required. Please dress your child for outdoor play and changing weather, and check your email for any session updates or cancellations.
